OOD Service Deprecation
The OOD environment is being replaced by ARE (Australian Research Environment). Please migrate your workload to ARE. For more information, see the ARE User Guide.
The Gadi Terminal App allows you to start an SSH connection to Gadi from within your web browser. While this can be useful for some limited cases (e.g. checking on Gadi jobs from a web browser), please note that the session closes when you close your browser window (or change to another page).
Starting a Session
- Login to OOD pre-production: https://ood.nci.org.au/
- Click the Gadi Terminal icon on the Dashboard (home page)
- This will immediately open a new tab showing the SSH session. It will usually ask for your NCI password (or SSH-key password if you have configured keys)
- To exit, either logout of the SSH session or close the browser tab.
