Note

22 Apr 2020 - /g/data3 Maintenance Downtime (8am-4pm AEST) - COMPLETED

The /g/data3 file system will be offline for maintenance 8:00am-4:00pm AEST on Wednesday 22 Apr 2020. /g/data3 will receive Lustre patches to address recent stability issues.

THREDDS and VDI services dependent on /g/data3 will also be unavailable to users during this scheduled maintenance period.

Jobs using storage flags to indicate the use of data stored on /g/data3 with walltimes that extend into the scheduled maintenance period will not be started until maintenance is completed.

This maintenance downtime for /g/data3 does not impact /home, /scratch, or any other /g/data file systems. Gadi is expected to remain operational during the /g/data3 scheduled maintenance period.

02 Apr 2020 - Q2 Scheduled Maintenance - MAINTENANCE COMPLETE, GADI ONLINE

Gadi and the /g/data3 file system will undergo quarterly scheduled maintenance starting on Thursday 02 Apr 2020. Please note that the Q2 maintenance plan has been revised to one working day only. NCI data centre infrastructure work originally scheduled for 2-6 April has been rescheduled to a later date.

Partner cloud VM instances
VMware instances
VDI instances not reliant on /g/data3

COVID-19

NCI staff are currently working from home In response to the COVID-19 pandemic. NCI systems remain fully operational and will be supported remotely. NCI user support will continue to operate as normal, with email the preferred mode of support interaction - help@nci.org.au.
