Himawari 8/9 full disk observations in the Himawari Standard Data (HSD) data format distributed by the Japan Meteorological Agency
to other national meteorological agencies, such as the Bureau of Meteorology.
This product contains the uncalibrated digital numbers as retreived by the Advanced Himawari Imager instrument. Calibration coefficients
must be applied to create physically meaningful units.
Intended for expert users only.
Higher level products derived from this data can be found in the Bureau of Meteorology - Satellite Observations (ra22) and and Bureau of Meteorology - Satellite Derived Products (rv74) data collections.
Data older than three months can be found on tape/MDSS on the Bureau of Meteorology - Satellite Archive (pc59) project.
