The hh5 "Climate-LIEF Data Storage" project was created under a Climate Data Lief Grant and used to store research data and access the CLEX conda environments. The Climate Data Lief Grant has since expired and the storage has since been funded by NCI to allow a smooth transition of data to other project spaces. The purpose of this document is to provide a reliable timeframe on how the decommissioning of hh5 will be organised.

Research data

The hh5 project was designed to be a temporary storage for research data. Current hh5 members that store data in the project are encouraged to transfer any data with relevance to other projects and remove their data from hh5 as soon as possible. Following the timetable below, all data under /g/data/hh5 and hh5-massdata will be removed. Specifically, the following folders are scheduled for decommissioning:

  • /g/data/hh5/admin
  • /g/data/hh5/public
  • /g/data/hh5/tmp
  • /g/data/hh5/toremove
  • massdata/hh5/

NCI strongly encourages all hh5 users to remove their data on their own accord to streamline the decommissioning process. Thank you.

Conda environments

The hh5 conda environments are no longer maintained. Many of the aspects of it have since been incorporated into the ACCESS-NRI Analysis3 Conda Environments. Detailed information and support for these environments are available via the ACCESS-NRI Forum
