Monitoring Cylc 7 suites on ARE without MOSRS

You can use cylc gscan and cylc gui from the VDI command line to view the status of your running suites.

1. Start an ARE VDI session.
2. Open a Terminal window (Applications > System Tools > Terminal menu item).
3. Type setup_cylc7 and press Enter.
4. Type cylc gscan and press Enter.
5. cylc gscan will show your running suites. You may need to click the refresh button (circular arrow, top right) to get up to date information.
   
6. Right click on the required suite and select Launch gcylc.
7. Use gcylc to interrogate and control your suite.
