Your default project on Raijin code is set in the file the .rashrc
file in your home directory. (Note that as because the filename starts with a full stop that , the file will be invisible to ls
unless you pass the -a
option to it.)
If you leave a project, and join a new project try to access a new project on Raijin without updating your default code you may see an error message like the following:
No Format |
---|
You are not a memebermember of the project "ab12" mkdir: cannot create directory `/short/INSTITUTION': Permission denied chmod: cannot access `/short/INSTITUTION/abc123/tmp': No such file or directory mkdir: cannot create directory `/short/INSTITUTION': Permission denied chmod: cannot access `/short/INSTITUTION/abc123/nftmp': No such file or directory |
If you have only just joined a your current project on Raijin, wait for up to 30 minutes to make sure the membership has propagated to all nodes.
After you login to Raijin, edit your open ~/.rashrc
and look for the following line:
No Format |
---|
setenv PROJECT ab12 |
Change the old existing project code to the code for your new current project. Once this is complete, then logout and login and see that the error has gone.again.
