NCI continues the partnership this year with Nvidia after a successful series of Bootcamps and Hackathons held in 2022. The Bootcamps focus on AI, GPU, parallel programming and speed up, and big data analysis using CPU and GPU capabilities. Bootcamps and Hackathons are exciting and unique ways for scientists and researchers to learn the skills needed to start quickly accelerating codes running on Gadi.
Application Deadline: April 04, 2023
Bootcamp Dates: 13th - 14th April 2023
Summary
The NCI, in collaboration with OpenACC organization and NVIDIA, is hosting the NCI N-Ways to GPU Programming Bootcamp for 2 days on April 13-14, 2023.
During this two-day online bootcamp, participants will learn about multiple GPU programming models and can choose the one that best fits their needs to run their scientific codes on GPUs. This bootcamp will cover an introduction to GPU programming using OpenACC, Standard Langauges, and CUDA C, and provides hands-on opportunities to learn how to analyze GPU-enabled applications using NVIDIA® Nsight™ Systems. This online bootcamp is a hands-on learning experience where you will be guided through step-by-step instructions with teaching assistants on hand to help throughout.

Application Deadline: April 10, 2023
Bootcamp Dates: 19th - 21st April 2023
Summary
During this online bootcamp, participants will learn how to apply AI tools, techniques, and algorithms to real-life problems. You will study the core concepts of Physics Informed Neural Networks, how to build them, as well as how to measure and improve the accuracy of your models. Attendees will study through hands-on experience of building and improving deep learning models using a framework that uses the fundamental laws of physics to model the behavior of complex systems, and enables attendees to visualize the physically accurate outputs of the trained model in near real-time. This online bootcamp is a hands-on learning experience where you will be guided through step-by-step instructions with teaching assistants on hand to help throughout.
