Australian CMIP6 DataCurrently registered Australian CMIP6 contributions will include:
This data is now available. NCI users will need to join fs38 to get access to this data. The data will be published on the NCI ESGF Node for additional access. About ACCESS-CM2 and ACCESS-ESM1.5ACCESS-CM2 and ACCESS-ESM1.5 differ in their atmospheric component. ACCESS-CM2 uses a current configuration of the Unified Model (UM), while ACCESS-ESM1.5 uses an older UM configuration, close to that used in ACCESS1.3 for CMIP5. For this reason, ACCESS-CM2 has a larger climate sensitivity (2xCO2 ECS=4.7K) than ACCESS-ESM1.5 (2xCO2 ECS=3.8K). ACCESS-ESM1.5 simulates the carbon cycle and consequently additional carbon-related variables are included in the ACCESS-ESM1.5 dataset. C4MIP and CDRMIP experiments will also be available for ACCESS-ESM1.5. For more information about the Australian CMIP6 data see the NCI Data Catalogue - CMIP6-era. No Australian CMIP6 data has been yet published.
Published Australian CMIP5 DataUnder CMIP5, NCI is the primary source of data for four published coupled models from the Australian climate science community:
Other MIPsNCI has also publishes data contributing to CORDEX, GeoMIP, and other MIPs as required. Currently published datasets, available on /g/data/r33, include:
